BET Awards 09: Best Moments and List of Winners!

Jamie Foxx hosted this year's BET awards and had me rolling!

First off, he pulled off doing a rendition of Beat It, with some MJ Highwater pants on, a tight tee and he even had on the glittery glove and socks!! But overall, his tributes to Michael coupled with the comedy helped the awards show out alot! You could tell there were a few somber moments with the death of MJ and Jamie did an outstanding job of keeping the crowd laughing and entertained.

Inside are the list of the winners and the most memorable moments that had me and my girls running to the TV and dying laughing!!

Most memorable moments:

New Edition's Jackson 5 Tribute - BOBBY "BIG BELLY" BROWN - OMG, I was in disbelief!...Well at least we know for sure he ain't smoking crack anymore!
In my opinion, Jamie put on the best performance of "Blame It", bringing out his feature TPain, Snoop and rock drummer Travis Barker. The performance was filled with explosives, lighting and the smoke effects were dope too!
BABY BOY Tribute: Taraji and Tyrese "Jody" Gibson represented and jumped into character for a sec and then busted out laughing!! When Ving Rhames came out nearly scaring the crowd talking about "Say the BET Video awards", we were like WTH? It's not the BET VIDEO awards dummy! LOL
Maxwell's performance was beautiful. He did an impeccable performance of his single 'Pretty Wings' and there were angelic dancers suspending from the ceilings. He put his all into his performance and it looked like he really missed being on stage too! It was just good to hear his sweet voice again!
NEW JACK SWING ERA- Keith Sweat, "I'm Sorry Boo" you don't have it anymore...and though I love Teddy Riley, Aaron and Damian made the Guy performance look wack by leaping over crowds to other stages and running like they were public enemy. They should have performed 'Let's Chill'. But when BBD came out!!! OMG- I was going crazy dancing to Poison! It brought back memories of when we wore cross color jumpers, combat boots and waterfall hairstyles! Especially when the whole crowd started singing Ricky's part, "It's driving me out of my mind...."
Beyonce....baby that was beautiful but I think it was for another award show...not the BET awards! It was too long and it changed up the whole mood of the ceremony. Her performance even left everybody on Twitter mad too! We wanted to hear something upbeat! And what was up with the outfit? smh.
Janet- The incomparable Miss Janet came out dressed in all cream, said only 4-5 lines and left the stage leaving us all speechless. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jackson Family!

Ne-Yo represented for the Michael Jackson tribute too, gotta give it up for Ne-Yo. But I would have loved to see Usher and Chris Brown as well! So whatever in the world happen to make them not attend was some straight bs. You could never miss out on something so monumental.
